Brilliant Bea: A Story for Kids with Dyslexia and Learning Differences
Couldn't load pickup availability
An endearing and empowering story that demonstrates that a learning difference like dyslexia doesn't define who you are.
Despite her struggles with reading and writing, Beatrice is a natural and brilliant storyteller. With the help of a kind-hearted teacher, Beatrice uses an old-fashioned tape recorder so she can speak her words and then play them back, as a technique for learning in a whole new way. With her new approach, Beatrice is able to show her classmates who she really has been all along.

Cute story that I grabbed as we just got a dyslexia diagnosis. It's nice to know youre not alone.
Such a cute book that reminds us that students with dyslexia have a special gift. Love that this teaches about inclusion and reminds kids that their learning disability does not make them any less of a person.
My granddaughter was not especially impressed with it. I thought it was okay.
Brilliant Bea is a great story about a child with dyslexia. I got to share with my dyslexic daughter shortly after diagnosis and the book truly helped encourage her.
This book made my dyslexic daughter feel understood and we gifted a copy to her teacher. She read it to the class and helped them better understand my daughter’s super powers and where she might not be so fast at some things. So beautiful and I’m so grateful.
