The sexy, action-packed first book in the #1 bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series from global phenomenon Sarah J. Maas.
When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a terrifying creature arrives to demand retribution. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she knows about only from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not truly a beast, but one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled her world.
At least, he's not a beast all the time.
As she adapts to her new home, her feelings for the faerie, Tamlin, transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But something is not right in the faerie lands. An ancient, wicked shadow is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it, or doom Tamlin-and his world-forever.
From bestselling author Sarah J. Maas comes a seductive, breathtaking book that blends romance, adventure, and faerie lore into an unforgettable read.

The book is amazing, the BOOK the physical book is NOT Used-MINT condition, the jacket is torn, there's a huge gouge in the side of the front binding. DO NOT TRUST THE "AMAZON inspected" It's definitely subjective!
This was a pretty slow start for me. I didn't even like Feyre till about the middle of the book. I was hooked towards the middle of the book. Keep reading it gets better if you're having the same feelings i had!
So many people recommend this book and others may refuse to read it due to the hype, but I’m here for it! Start to finish was exquisite! Already got the second book and going to open it after I write this review. Thank you Sarah for satiating my imagination!
After reading reviews complaining about Feyre’s character, I hesitated to even purchase this book. Don’t hesitate if you have read the same rambling, disjointed, bitter review, likely written by someone with zero imagination, someone who is so disenchanted with their life they cannot even find a retreat into a book that is truly wonderful!!The characters are well built, nothing repetitive, moves along in a very easy pace! I was never once bored, nor did I feel rushed! World building was at a comfortable pace along with the story line! The characters seem so real! Are they perfect? Not at all!! There are hopes, dreams, brokenness, faults, fears, failures…..shortcomings!! All the things that we each carry! I’m looking forward to finding out more about Rhys! He seems to be an enigma!Honestly, I have already purchased the rest of the books and can’t wait to see where we end up!Happy reading!!
A great story! This series got me hooked on reading again! SJM does a great job of developing the characters and creating a world that feels so magical and real! This book does contain content I would say is inappropriate for kids under 16.
