I was really looking forward to this book and it is a beautiful coffee table book. However, very few of the pictures are new and are taken from other publications so you will have seen most of them before if you have an interest in any of these designers. There is just one page of text for each designer, which is hardly informative. There are then just a few pictures of each garden with no further information or captions. It is really disappointing when some of the photos are just close-ups of individual flowers, which could be taken anywhere. It is joyful to look at, but you are unlikely to learn anything. I was left wanting more about fewer gardens.
