"Unputdownable." --RuNyx, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, for House of Beating Wings

"Packed full of action, magic, suspense, steam, and swoony romance, this is a fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat rollercoaster ride." --Siobhan Davis, USA Today & Wall Street Journal bestselling author

The epic finale of Fallon and Lore's slow-burn, enemies to lovers romance in the tantalizing world of shifters, fae, fated mates, and magic from USA Today bestselling author and BookTok favorite Olivia Wildenstein.

I WILL BECOME QUEEN OF LUCE... OR DIE TRYING.

There are few people I loathe more than Dante Regio, but my aunt Bronwen, my former grandfather Justus, and my Shabbin grandmother Meriam sit right alongside the Faerie monarch on my list of despicable beings. Especially after they assist the pointy-eared ruler with my kidnapping.

Locked in an obsidian underworld no Crow can reach, not even their king, I soon learn things aren't as they seem. People aren't as they seem. And history... I'm still attempting to reconcile the truth with what I was previously told.

My new allies have an agenda, but I have one of my own. Though there's overlap--we all agree Dante must die--what I desire more than anything is to return to Lore before he levels the kingdom to find me... or loses his humanity trying.

I may favor crowns over coffins, but I refuse to live in a world where my mate only exists as a bird.

Includes bonus content and an annotated chapter!

Tied up book 1 & 2 loose ends and then some

My review below may have some of my review from book 1 & book 2 but I only kept a lot of the info from those 2 books, because it says how the author writes and how good this series really is.I'm not going to rewrite the synopsis, that's easy to get from her books webpage. With that said, here is what I am going to say about this book/series .. I love the way this story gets you from the beginning and just keeps building. Like books 1 & 2, there isn't a place in book 3 where I thought something didn't fit together or was cringe worthy. It was also put together really well. You still have intrigue, a lot of action, a lot of guessing, spots that will get you angry for the characters, happy for some characters, and as before, some surprises and so much more.In book 3 it closed up some ends that were left hanging from book 1 & 2 and it was a satisfying end to this part of the series. I say 'this part of the series' because there is a continuation of sorts with book 4 & 5.This author continues to blow me away with her story telling.I still recommend you getting this series, including books 4 & 5. I also bought and read her book called "The Dark Beauty", which I also highly recommend reading. Now onto another one of her books.

4.5 ⭐

Oh the chokehold this series has had on me!A solid conclusion to Lore and Fallon’s storyβ€”although Dante got off too easy in my opinion.

Just wow..

I absoutely devoured this series. Every book was a hit to the pleasure nerve. They all painted a perfect background to where you were swept away to each location. I loved all the characters and really can't figure out which is my favorite now. I would highly recommend this read to everyone.

Great Series!

Ok, in my review of book two in this crow series I mentioned how I’m a forever fan and this may be my favorite series ever, which I am still very fond of this series, however, this third book was not as easy of a read for me. I am not a fan of torture whatsoever and the whole first half of this book was rough. I think too much time was spent on Fallon being trapped with Dante in the tunnels and all of the bad things that came with that… I understand that it made her relationship with her fay grandfather stronger and you needed some of that to see how their bond forms in the story, but it was almost too much to continue reading for me. I found myself skim reading to get through that whole first half. The rest was great! I will be reading the next book in the series as well, but I’m hoping for no more torture of any kind (unless it’s the sexy kind:).
