I’ve read all leading to this one, and this is by far the best. Will definitely read the rest of the series!
I’ll be honest, at first the story moved a little slow especially the investigation about the Oulette Quints. But about midway through the novel the story picks up and the battle between Gamache and Francoeur gets charged. Very riveting and hard to put down.
Couldn’t stop reading it from the time I picked it up! Love Louise pennys writing. And how I love this series!!!
The best series of murder mysteries I have ever read, and I have read a lot!! Mysteries I never manage to guess the end of. Absolutely fascinating characters, believable and who grow through each book and into the next. And the sex is left up to your imagination.
It's pretty rare for me to want to read a series twice, but here we are...this was just as riveting as it was the first time. I had to ration myself or I'd have devoured the book in a few days.
