beginning

Ending chapters not nearly as good as the first half. Predictable and preachy ending — a disappointment for me. Some good writing.

Final story: Forever consists of now - Emily Dickinson said it first!

This was a great read. Lots of great quotes and good writing overall. The writing makes you tap into your imagination while still keeping it very real. I did feel the plot was predictable. The entire book being one main character POV was sometimes perfect but sometimes lacking. However, the story is satisfying! And again, there are plenty of good quotes and a-lot of philosophically inclined thought provoking paragraphs.

Good story but weak finish.

Beautiful story but I felt it could have been a bit longer for a more satisfying ending. This was the second book by Matt I've read and am expecting delivery of The Humans today. The ending with Heinrich was weak, the Marrion reveal was sudden but revealed to quickly, and Camille's story ran out of steam.I did enjoy it and am now wondering 24 hours later that perhaps another 100 pages would have been better. I dunno...shrug.

Entertaining but predictable

I liked the book but sort of had to push myself to end it. It was predictable by the end but I did enjoy it. Will make a good movie.
