It is so interesting with so much history, back woods humor, and knowledge that it was hard for me to stop reading. It is a must for Americans to read it. I could hardly wait to receive since it was back ordered by Amazon.
By far the funniest a wittiest book I have read. Kennedy is the smartest politician in office today.I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand the absurdity of today's politics. It will make you laugh and cry at the same time!
I have listened to the author speak before share thoughts via the jokes used . There is more of this in the book including more detailed explanations of his beliefs behind the jokes\sarcasm to appreciate what he thinks.He shares his background which is interesting.
Loved the book as only Kennedy can write it. Common sense that seems rare in DC comes through on every page. His southern wit and wisdom is what got my to buy this book and I was not disappointed.This book reflects what I have been thinking and I'm sure many more Americans also.
John Kennedy from Louisiana is a national treasure in this book is narrated personally by Mr Kennedy. It's an excellent read/listen. I bought the book but also the audio version on Audible. What a valuable national asset we have in Senator Kennedy.
