"Readers of Liane Moriarty, Paula Hawkins, and Ruth Ware will love." --Library Journal (starred review)
"Jewell's novel explores the space between going missing and being lost....how the plots intersect and finally collide is one of the great thrills of reading Jewell's book. She ratchets up the tension masterfully, and her writing is lively." --The New York Times
In the windswept British seaside town of Ridinghouse Bay, single mom Alice Lake finds a man sitting on a beach outside her house. He has no name, no jacket, and no idea how he got there. Against her better judgment, she invites him inside.
Meanwhile, in a suburb of London, newlywed Lily Monrose grows anxious when her husband fails to return home from work one night. Soon, she receives even worse news: according to the police, the man she married never even existed.
Twenty-three years earlier, Gray and Kirsty Ross are teenagers on a summer holiday with their parents. The annual trip to Ridinghouse Bay is uneventful, until an enigmatic young man starts paying extra attention to Kirsty. Something about him makes Gray uncomfortable--and it's not just because he's a protective older brother.
Who is the man on the beach? Where is Lily's missing husband? And what ever happened to the man who made such a lasting and disturbing impression on Gray?
"A mystery with substance" (Kirkus Reviews), I Found You is a delicious collision course of a novel, filled with the believable characters, stunning writing, and "surprising revelations all the way up to the ending" (Booklist) that make the New York Times bestselling author of None of This Is True Lisa Jewell so beloved by audiences on both sides of the Atlantic.

Lisa Jewel is such a talented writer, with insight into the complex, multifaceted minds of ordinary people who are doing their best to navigate the (sometimes scary) vicissitudes of life. This novel is never predictable, yet not obscure, just compelling.
I think that this is the first book I have read from Lisa Jewell. I enjoyed it. It felt like three stories merged into a common threat.I enjoyed how she developed some of the characters. The story was terrífic!Pretty good read. Now, off to seek her list of other books.
A man who remembers nothing other than he thinks he might have killed someone was found sitting on the beach in the rain until Alice rescued him offering him a dry place to stay until he could remember who he was.…I Found You is about a man that is drawn to this seaside town to recapture memories.…Alice is a single mom of three living in a small seaside town.…There are different characters in the same story. Three intersecting plots that collide together at the very end. Everything rides on the storyline of this stranger trying to regain his memory. I grew bored of the slow pace of this man struggling with memory loss. Even the other two character stories didn’t spark any interest.…I’m no stranger to Lisa Jewel’s writing style. I see the high star ratings from other reviewers. For me the flow is not there. I find myself skim reading. The concept captured my attention. The delivery was lacking that connection.
I have read numerous books by this author and what I love is that each book, while stand-alone, develops it characters fully . Plus, they can be read in any order. Twists and turns and beautiful make for books I can't put down. I hope to put my hands on every book she has written.
Its hard for me to describe all the parts that are so very intriguing of Lisa Jewell's writing style. Its, of course, the type of stories she's telling in combination with the compelling characters. In addition, me not being a native English speaker, she gets me every time with her language use (I think Ive read about 9 of her books by now). Apart from challenging me, its how she puts together extremely well created stories of human beings that can teach all of us something about human connection and life and all its colors. Please keep on writing Lisa as I cant stop reading your books.
