This book was amazing. I used the Audio it was really good too! Wow I did not see any of that coming.
This book was hard to put down! Twists and turns throughout the book. Keeping you guessing until the end. Mary Kubica always pleases. Suspenseful. I recommend it highly. Can't wait until her next book is released (hoping there will be a next one....and soon).
When I was a kid, my family went away to a camp for Labor Day Weekend, several years. We stayed in cabin. There wasn’t a lock on the door. The bathrooms (toilets & showers were not in the cabin & were utilized by all).We all felt safe. But were we really???We all had fun, even with the six of us in the one room cabin (no kitchen).Would I do that today? No way! 🤣This is a fast paced, excellent thriller.I highly recommend It’s Not Her!
Pages keep turning. This is an easy read. Keeps you interested. Recommend this to you! Add this to your TBR LIST
It’s Not Her had me turning pages fast! The book has a clever plot that revolves around the disappearances of two teenagers, one several years earlier and the other currently missing after her parents are slaughtered. Teenagers are often trusting, and luck plays a great deal of importance in what happens to them. Meet the wrong person, and who knows? The narrative is told in a dual timeline, from the missing teen’s POV and her aunt’s. The action takes place in a vacation cottage by a lake in Wisconsin. If I have any criticism, every chapter ends on a cliffhanger, which, of course, gets you to turn the page, but would be better handled more judiciously. The end is a complete surprise, but there were clues, and I knew it was coming.Definitely a good read.
