This series is enjoyable. The Lost Cities is strange, dangerous and yet endearing. The action moves along as more mysteries and fantasies tumble out. Sophie (heroine, telepath and a whole bunch of other magical powers) muddles her way through the wonderful background. However, she's the most unlikable YA heroine I've met. Keefe, Fitz, Dex and Biana contain more depth. I believe kids will love the series. Messenger fails on the delivery of Sophie. Sorry.

I really recommend this book! It’s not too gory or scary, but it’s so engaging and I couldn’t put it down. Definitely worth reading whenever you get the chance
