Marriage Portrait: Reese's Book Club

Excellent writing, the story pulled me in and kept me reading. I didn’t feel particularly invested in any of the characters so only giving 4 stars. But still worth a read, I like to think this is possible.

I was quickly drawn into the life of Lucrezia as I shared her footsteps, dreams, and fears. A beguiling tale woven from a confluence of historical events and questionable deaths. I highly recommend!!!!

This is an interesting read. It's not my usual type of book, but thought I'd try it. It is a wonderful story that I ended up enjoying. I love being surprised by a book that I wouldn't normally have picked up.

This is just so beautiful. The rhythm of the words, the fierce woman, all of it. I loved it. Stunning.

This was good, but too long. There were parts of the book that included drawn-out details that made me want to skip through to the end because I was bored. The story was good, but again, really too long.
