Interesting book to read.

A wonderful story of a girl finding her voice and asking to be called by her full name because itβs how she identifies with the family she comes from.
I used this book when I taught 3rd grade. It is a classic read for third graders. It is a powerful story about the importance of one's names and finding one's voice.
Good, easy read for a struggling reader. It's a chapter book, but the chapters are short so it's a quick read. Great for new students adjusting to a new classroom.
