His mother works there, so Rami is there most days after school. He knows everyone who works at the museum, even Agatha, the courtyard pond-loving turtle. (Agatha offers insight to the reader with her own chapters!) Rami also knows all about the artwork on display. When a painting of a young girl turns up missing, Rami decides to solve the case. Strangely, the girl from the painting reveals herself to Rami in ghost-form at the museum, but this brings up even more questions for Rami. The clock is ticking as Rami and his mother become suspects....can the ghost girl help Rami solve the case?Middle schoolers will definitely identify with the challenging and ever-changing friendships that are an undercurrent throughout the book. When Rami & A friend, Veda begin to investigate, they see a ghost inhabiting the museum. Jasmine Warga has crafted an awesome story about art, finding oneself, friends and loved ones. A truly remarkable itcompelling middle grade read with a turtle who is an artist!!!
Jasmine Warga just knows how to tell a story. If you are looking for a middle grade mystery, non-scary ghost story, this is the book for you.
