Love this entire series. Each book is hilarious and also gripping. Keeps you wanting to read it and a hell of a ride.
NEW ACHIEVEMENT! YOU SURVIVED THE IRON TANGLE!Another wild ride in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series! This is the third book and should definitely be read in order.When the author warns you the book is going to be confusing, believe them. Donut, Carl, Katya, and the rest of the surviving crawlers have made it to the 4th floor, which is an immensely complicated train system. I personally didn’t try too hard to follow all the colors and numbers of the train system, just went along for the ride, and still had a great time.This book is full of “Carl plans” and even more politics and scheming. Poor Katya, her dislike for violence lands her in some really gross and gory situations. There were also some seriously epic moments, and a few real nail-biters.I loved this book, and while it wasn’t my favorite so far, it was still fantastic. I have loved the first two books and I loved this one too. My favorite is how much the people are starting to work together. Also, for as crazy as Carl is here is also very intelligent. Not to mention how he moans about hating math and it giving him a headache, he does mental math very well and very fast.
Character development, humor, plot...this series has it all. I've been on the hunt for a book that would keep me thinking about it, even if I wasn't reading and this one has done it. Matt has done such an amazing job with this series, and I can't wait to read the next one!
Such a great book. I am enthralled! Carl is so crazy and hilarious. Donut is obviously my favorite: Temple Terrace Donut Holes!!!! Katia is a great addition to the team. I’m sad to see they didn’t make the team bigger when they had the opportunity. Especially with Elle and Imani or event Bautista.
