From the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the House of Night series Kristin Cast comes a spicy and spellbinding light romantasy filled with tarot, adventure, and a hero who is broody, sexy, and just the right amount of trouble.
What happens when a twenty-three-year-old woman stumbles into a world of magick, mystery, and one ridiculously hot, broody hero? She breaks all the rules, obviously.
Hannah has always played by the book--until a tarot reading goes sideways and drops her into a world where magick is real, danger lurks in the shadows, and men look like they've stepped out of a fantasy novel. Case in point: Kane, the kingdom's gruff yet infuriatingly gorgeous protector, who claims Hannah's arrival isn't an accident. Apparently, she's the key to saving his realm from ruin.
Hannah's priorities?
Get her tarot card back.
Find a way home.
Absolutely not fall for the battle-scarred warrior who makes her want to forget all her plans.
But as the palace's secrets unravel, and enemies close in, the line between duty and desire blurs. Because if Hannah wants to return to her world, she'll have to embrace the magick inside her and trust the one man who makes her question everything.
Perfect for fans of That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon and the Four Horsemen series by Laura Thalassa, step into the enchanting world of Towerfall.

Knew once I saw this book in my Kindle recommends I was going to get it!!Big Fan of Kristen Cast books!! Highly recommend any thing she writes!!
I originally got this book from the library and loved it so much that I had to order it for myself! This was the first fiction book. I have read in a long time and I can tell you it did not disappoint! I finish this book in four days and I am someone who does not ever finish books that quickly. I loved everything about it. it’s definitely worth the read.
The main character, female, is utterly unrealistically disastrously clumsy, ignorant and full of the worst decisions. Which I suppose gives things to write about. The guy is intriguing, but i only got "22%" of the way through. She was what made it impossible to get through. I was really hoping to like it too.
This story starts with a woman who is not living her best life. Then she gets magically transported into a different realm and almost dies right away. We do get a kingdom that is falling apart, magic, a fake marriage, and some spice. I wish the magic would have been better explored, especially the tarot card. It was a bit insta-love, even when our MMC tells the FMC not to trust anyone. I did find some parts interesting, especially mirror version of people from the original world. It does tie up nicely at the end with an HEA, so I wonder where the series is going to go.Thank you to Bloom for my arc. All opinions are my own.
