What would make your Christmas perfect?
For Cassie Beaumont, it's meeting her perfect match. Cassie, at thirty-three, wants a husband and kids, and so far nothing's worked. Not blind dates, not the internet and certainly not leaving love to chance.
So she hires professional matchmaker Simon Dodson. He's very expensive and very choosy about the clients he takes on, but he's got a great reputation. Cassie's astonished when he agrees to work with her.
Simon assigns her three tasks to complete before she meets her perfect mate: being a charity bell ringer, dressing up as Santa's elf at a mall and preparing a traditional turkey dinner for her neighbors (most of whom she happens to dislike). Despite a number of mishaps, Cassie does it all--and she's finally ready to meet her match.
And he turns out to be a wonderful surprise, just like the perfect Christmas gift!
"A sweet holiday treat from Macomber has become an annual staple for many readers, and this one doesn't disappoint." --RT Book Reviews

Bought as a gift for friend for Christmas. She loved the story.
A very good read and happy stories, I enjoy Debbie McComber books and movies, her characters are quirky and fun. She puts them in precarious situations and they come through with flying colors.
Usually buy a book or two before Christmas and pass them on in gift bags.
I haven’t read it yet, it just arrived yesterday. Debbie Macomber is one of my absolute favorite authors. I have read most of her books. Her writing style is smooth, snd her character development is wonderful. Her stories are always uplifting and encouraging, I expect this book to be the same!
Perfect Christmas had 2 different stories. First there was the story of Cassie Beaumont who was willing to spend $30,000 to a matchmaker to find her perfect match. She goes to Simon Dodson who guarantees a perfect match for her $30,000. He has her complete 3 tasks…stand outside a store ringing a bell and collecting money for a charity, act as an elf who is Santa’s helper and cook a huge meal for neighbors she doesn’t even like. Once she completes the tasks, the fun begins. The second story was Can This Be Christmas? This story was about travelers who were grounded in a snowstorm. Their airport in Maine shut down due to a winter storm. They were rerouted to take a train to Boston and make connections there. The train ran into difficulties when the track needed to be repaired. It was early on Christmas Eve. The travelers were stranded until the track was repaired. Sadly, the track being repaired took a lot longer than anyone could anticipate. During their unwanted Christmas Eve, travelers became friends.
