The world is at war and the prophesied savior is nowhere to be found. The Witcher, Geralt of Rivia, races to find her in the fourth novel of Andrzej Sapkowski's groundbreaking epic fantasy series that inspired the hit Netflix show and the blockbuster video games -- in hardcover for the first time!
The world has fallen into war. Ciri, the child of prophecy, has vanished. Hunted by friends and foes alike, she has taken on the guise of a petty bandit and lives free for the first time in her life.
But the net around her is closing. Geralt, the Witcher, has assembled a group of allies including Dandelion, Milva, Regis, and Cahir, to rescue her. Both sides of the war have sent brutal mercenaries to hunt her down. Her crimes have made her famous.
There is only one place left to run. The tower of the swallow is waiting. . .

The saga continues! If you’ve made it this far into the Witcher series, then I’m sure you plan to read them all. Please note an observation from me. While I would almost call the prior books “page turners,” this one is a slow burn. Don’t give in to ideas that it’s gotten stale and slow. Sapkowski writes with precision here. It’s all calculated and quite marvelous.Savor and enjoy!
Love the Witcher series of books. Highly recommend to anyone that likes a good adventure. This is my second time reading the books.
This a part of the witcher series which is extremely recommended. I don't have to say anything. As for the book, it was well-packed and arrived in a very good shape.
Best book in the series so far. It was such a page turner!!!! This whole series was a bit of a slow start, but started picking up the pace finally about 4 books in. Can't wait to start the next book.
This entry into the witcher series is well written and has such a satisfying ending. Ciri comes into her own as she weaves her tale to the hermit in the bog. Well earth your time!
