A fun read. Starts off a little slow, building up some backstory with the characters, but gets into more action and suspense later in the book.
This is my first time reading this book and I am so glad I did the book was great! I read the assassins blade first and I’m glad I did because it flower well into this book. Very entertaining and a great read!
I've been an SJM mega-fan for a long time. I've read ACOTAR many times and have been anxiously waiting to start Throne of Glass. It did NOT disappoint. I went in knowing that this wasn't going to be like Feyre and Rysand exploding with raw sexual tension, lol. However, there are budding romances and friendships that I can already tell will stay with me long after I finish the series and will pull me back in for many re-reads!
Solid read for fantasy lovers. Not entirely perfect world building but enough mystery and intrigue to keep me invested. I'm hooked enough to continue the series!
I had no idea going into this book that there would be so much mystery to unravel!!!!Celaena as strong as she is, still feels a bit like a mystery too. Who is he really? Does she even know what she wants or who she really is. She’s lived her whole life being told what to do and living by someone else’s expectations.I really enjoy the side characters in this book and so hope we get to learn about them too in future books.
