It was quite the journey to watch Christopher’s skill as a writer grow after Aragon. Now he’s among the best. This story is so engaging you don’t want to put the book down.
I love Christopher Paolini‘s books but this one was a little bit out there actually it was a lot a bit out there. Didn’t even finish it.
TSiaSoS is one of the most detailed, thrilling, and downright amazing SciFi books I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Christopher Paolini truly has grown since writing Eragon as a child. It feels as though the experience of reading this novel has changed the way I view life and the world around me. The end was so beautiful and unexpected; you'll have to read it for yourselves to truly understand. My appreciation for Paolini as an author and as a person has grown exponentially these past two weeks as I have glimped the depths of his intelligence anf passion through this masterpiece.
You can see hear and feel every character and emotion. The creative redefining of what we understand as theoretical space travel brought a whole new level of excitement. Add a dash of biomechanics and fall into this amazing story. Loved it!
I had just finished reading for the first time the entire Eragon series and the newly released Murtaugh book, so I was eager to read more. I’ve been on a bit of a sci-fi kick and this book didn’t disappoint. The world building was incredible and the twists and turns you experience throughout are enjoyable. Be warned however: this is not a face paced read. As with all of Paolini’s writing, it’s long. I usually like that, but I found myself somewhat crawling to the end of this one. There were lots of long drawn out parts that I think the book could’ve been better without. Overall 4/5!
