I really enjoyed this series. Once again Rina Kent outdid herself and I love it so much. Aiden and Elsa have stolen my heart.
This story offers more than dark romance's formulaic sex and violence. The story included a shared trauma history for the MCs that was well written and had aspects of some of the best horror. The characters are vulnerable and engaging as children trying to survive.Although the childhood trauma is not the main focus of the story, wanting to know more about it pulled me through this book and made it a far more enjoyable read.
It started to get a bit repetitive in this one. I wanted to see a bit more growth and a little more plot. However, if you're in it for the spice and not the character development along the way, then you will drool for this one.*This book is rated R. The F word and other strong language are used often. There is bloody violence and torture. The spice is detailed and on page.
Another page turner in this series. While this is a darker romance, it still had good passion between the characters. I loved that she gave an epilogue for Aiden and Elsa. Can't wait to start Book 4 because I've been itching to find out what is going on between Xander and Kim.
I’m so happy that even tho it took 3 books Elsa and Aiden got their HEA. They over came so many obstacles but I always knew they were end game.
