A pirate's home is the sea, sailing beyond the horizon with her true love.
Aboard the Crimson Siren, Captain Cinder finally has the life she's always dreamed of. Her freedom is restored, her crew is a trustworthy bunch, and the princess who holds her heart is by her side.
But trouble brewing back in Redmere threatens to pull Cinder and Princess Georgina apart before their future can truly begin. Georgina feels a responsibility to help, while Cinder is vehemently against returning to their former home. Instead, she embarks on a dangerous treasure hunt that could cost her everything. Hiding a deadly threat from those she holds dear, Cinder pushes everyone around her away just when she needs them the most.
Friendships are tested. Risky alliances forged. Yet as storm clouds darken Cinder's future, one thing becomes painfully clear: Her home is taking on water, and time to save the people she loves is running out.
Unbroken continues the adventures of Cinder, Georgina, and the crew of the Crimson Siren. For maximum enjoyment, start with Uncharted, book 1 in the series.

Each book has me wanting to know more and rooting for Lou and George. I can’t wait to start Unleashed and see how everything gets tied up.
4.25/5 starsAlli Temple does it again with a heart pounding, heart wrenching, roller-coaster of an adventure! This 2nd installment in The Pirate & Her Princess series changes POVs as we now focus on Lou, though George is still a main character. Switching from the Princess to the Pirate was a fun change of pace, though I admit I preferred George (though that's just personal preference). We get to explore Lou's weaknesses and insecurities, her trauma and pain, a lot more in this book as she mostly fronted the tough and unshakable pirate captain in the first part of the series. I thought it was a really cool way to expand on the character and I hope we maybe see a split POV in the 3rd book. The pacing and action of this book fell a little bit short for me compared to the first, but that's not uncommon with a 2nd book in a trilogy. The writing was still very high quality, I adored getting to learn more about some characters (Maro especially) and I was still entertained the whole way through - but something just felt a little less than Uncharted. But, this was still a PHENOMENAL book and I am so excited to keep reading.I highly recommend this series to anyone that enjoys fantasy, pirates, adventure, romance, morally grey characters....pretty much anyone with a pulse really! It's a fantastic series with good world building, captivating characters, and an engaging story. The writing is top notch and it's clear that Alli Temple is both competent and passionate about her craft - do yourself a favor and check these out!
Family reunited. Trusts broken. Treasures fought and found. A country in desperate need of saving. Two souls that were meant for one another sail from one adventure to the next.
I loved it! Unbroken was well developed and a wonderful continuation of George and Cinder’s story. I can’t wait to see what comes next.
Unbroken is the second book in the The Pirate and Her Princess series, a new swashbuckling adventure series set within a fictional world. This book could possibly be read as a standalone, but I highly suggest reading this series in order for full enjoyment.Lou, aka the feared pirate Cinder, is a fascinating character and I loved getting a more in depth look into how she thinks and operates. The plot was fast paced with a lot of action. I was instantly sucked into the story. I also enjoyed seeing the growth and development of Lou’s relationships: from George, her love, to the mysterious Whit. The audiobook was narrated by Emily Woo Zeller who does a fantastic job. Emily voiced each of the characters perfectly and really brought the action scenes to life. The audiobook production was well done.
