Absolutely 💯 amaze balls! Love the series. Im totally completely hooked and can't stop reading. I have to go to work early tomorrow and I'm still reading at midnight
I love this series.I'm currently rereading it because I thought that the final book was forthcoming but by the time it was delayed I was already too far gone in my obsession with the characters and storyline.I am reading the series how Jennifer suggests, which I did the first time as well out if necessity due go publishing dates and it's my favorite way go read it but every time I get two the switch point I don't want two leave the characters which says a lot because I fall in love with them every time.The book isn't perfect. The writing isn't perfect. Jennifer like most romantasy authors has phrases she likes of a particular plot line she wants to make work so she'll maybe fit something in that might go against what the reader knows. I call it indulgent writing. But I can't help but indulge because I just get drawn in.This book builds on the overall plot between the two crowns and Poppy and her mother's relationship. It also develops Kieran and Poppy's relationship. Fastest is kept imprisoned again and we shift between his POV and Poppy's throughout as the overall plot progresses. It does get old after awhile (bc who doesn't b want Poppy and Cas together) but it does help fill knowledge gaps.The end is jam packed with additional story building and cliffhangers, definitely leaving you wanting more.Personally, this is my favorite series (combined with FAF). I love Poppy and Cas and Nyktos and Sera. I also love and adore TOG, FBAA edges it out just slightly. But if that's your vibe, this series is for you. Its not perfect, it gets YA and sappy at times (like if Cas says he's unworthy one. More. Time. ) but none nurses story telling overshadows it.This series is not YA like TOG, so there is spice. Maybe 2/5 on my scale of chilies? I like spice but I am not scandalized by it in this series, it doesn't drive the series, its just a nice addition but could be skipped if its not your thing.Enjoy!
Couldn't put it down so many unexpected twists in the plot. Loved the new charter Reaver and seeing the world expand even further.
This has been my favorite of this series so far! I could not stop reading it. I'm in love with these books.
I love the amount of detail and surprises when I think I just got it figured out. Brilliant writing, lovely characters.
