Rewind eleven months: Margot, a faded TV star, and her long-suffering friend Anna watch as glamorous Liv and her flawless family move into their street. The three women soon fabricate the perfect pretence of friendship, but each harbours her own deadly secret - and newcomer Liv senses something is terribly wrong beneath the polished exteriors.

This novel was intriguing. It reads like a cross between Sybil and The Sixth Sense and the dark psychological thriller you have currently on your nightstand! John Marrs books are always at the top of by book reads!
This was the first book I read by John Marrs and I really enjoyed it! It had twists and turns that kept me interested. Will definitely be reading more by him.
Too many characters to focus on. I had to go back to figure who was who a couple of times. But the John Marrs is great!
Great story! So many twists and turns! The plot kept me guessing for quite awhile who was the craziest of the 3 women. I liked them all so much despite their secrets. And I loved the bit of “supernatural“ twist weaved so smartly in the storyline. Great book, it was difficult to put down. Now onto the next John Marrs books. Thank you John for the great entertainment.
Marilyn Monroe was right about being two-faced. That's how all three women one-upped each other.John Marrs gives a thought-provoking look at several mental health issues. As well as the waiting list problems that occur with government health systems.I love this book. I listened to and read the story. The person reading it fantastic! Her rendition of Margot is hilarious. I can't believe how often I laughed. Mr. Marrs developed his characters in such a way that I felt I knew each one, even Brandon and Drew.So very entertaining. I very strongly recommend it.
